How to convert VCF to CSV
Open the converter, drop in your .vcf file, and download the CSV — that's it. The converter runs in your browser, so your contacts are never uploaded anywhere. It works with files exported from iPhone, Android, Google Contacts and Outlook.

A .vcf (vCard) file is what your phone produces when you export or share contacts. Excel and Google Sheets can't open it directly — you need to convert it first.
- Open the VCF to CSV converter on this site.
- Drag your .vcf file onto the drop zone (or tap to browse). The contacts appear in a preview list.
- Tap Download CSV. Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.

What's in the CSV
Every contact becomes one row with columns for name, first/last name, nickname, all phone numbers, all email addresses, company, job title, department, full address, website, birthday and notes. Contacts with several phone numbers keep them all, separated by semicolons inside the cell.
Names with accents or non-Latin scripts (like Hindi, Arabic or Chinese) are decoded correctly — the converter understands the quoted-printable encoding that Android uses when exporting contacts.
Opening the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets
In Google Sheets, use File → Import → Upload and pick the CSV. In Excel, double-clicking usually works; if the columns look wrong, use Data → From Text/CSV and choose comma as the delimiter with UTF-8 encoding.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to convert my contacts online?
With this converter, yes — the file is read by your own browser and never sent to a server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
My contacts have names in another language. Will they survive?
Yes. The converter decodes the UTF-8 and quoted-printable encodings used in vCard 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 files.
How do I get a VCF file from my iPhone?
Open Contacts, select the contacts (or use iCloud.com → Contacts → Select All), then choose Export vCard. On iCloud.com the export option is in the gear menu.
Can I convert many contacts at once?
Yes — thousands of contacts in one file convert in a few seconds.
